This is an outside sales position that requires you to be on the road, visiting accounts in the Bay Area and beyond. You are responsible for in-the-field activities as well as outbound calling efforts. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage relationships with current accounts, including calling and visiting retail and food service customers regularly and ensuring merchandisingPitch our products and acquire new retail and food service customersPlan and prioritize weekly goals to drive sales volume, including but not limited to executing launches and promos, selling in additional SKUs, pushing for additional facings, working with store buyers and managers to increase ordersMaintain good understanding of our products, pricing, margin structure, and promo strategies Manage relationships with distributors reps and broker reps in your areaAssist Director of Sales to meet distribution and velocity goalsMaintain daily communication with managers via digital store visit platforms. Attend and contribute to weekly calls with the team and your manager Provide market level insights including customer and consumer feedback, competitive activity, and market successes as neededAct as ambassador for the brand and participate in field marketing activities as needed Spend 80% of your time in the field visiting accounts

Qualifications:

We don’t care about diploma, only your attitude and drive3-5+ years' experience in either retail sales and/or marketing/promotion/sampling and a passion for CPG salesAble to make cold calls and take rejections; enjoys talking to people and building relationshipsHighly motivated, resourceful, has a go-getter mentality and willing to do what it takes to get things doneDemonstrated problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skillsClean driver's license, reliable car, and proof of insurance Ability to lift 20 lbs., load, set up, execute and tear down promotional itemsProficient in Google Suites (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail), Excel, Microsoft WordLiving in the Bay Area is preferable
