Part-Time - 16 hours per week


Hybrid (Required to come onsite every Thursday and as needed at headquarters in Vista, CA.)


What You'll Do

Your duties will include to:
  • Coordinate various domestic & international print production requests (e.g., Sales Sheets, Coupons, Stickers, Shelf Talkers, Store Signage, etc.) from design stage to final production in a timely manner.
  • Help maintain the print production schedule/tracker. Evaluate at which stage all projects are in; help prioritize or fast-track projects as needed.
  • Gather edits & changes needed on existing and/or new projects, organize these in a succinct manner, and post edits on Basecamp for Designers.
  • Proofread and ensure that print specifications & design style guideline are being met.
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes and timelines and distributes approved artwork files to Printers.
  • Assist with cross-departmental approvals on cost, timeline, artwork & proofs.
  • Proactively evaluate project deliverables and ensure they are on time and of high quality.
  • Compare different print options & materials that could help save on costs and/or are more environmentally friendly (e.g. minimizes waste, uses higher % of PCR materials, etc.) and provides recommendations.
  • Attend press checks as needed to ensure that color, quality, etc. are being met.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Completion of a high school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of print production and/or print procurement experience.
  • Familiarity with Basecamp (or other similar Project Management program) and Dropbox
  • Print Production: print method, ink applications, and substrate behavior.
Any combination of educational and work experience that would be equivalent to the stated minimum requirements would qualify for consideration of this position.
