The Task At Hand:
The Vice President of Information Technology and Systems will report to the Chief Accounting Officer and be responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, and operational oversight of the organization’s technology infrastructure, systems, and processes. The position includes direct management of the IT Project Management Office (PMO), Director of Cybersecurity and Sarbanes-Oxley, Director of IT Services and Process Excellence, and Director of Business System Applications. Additionally, the VP will also be pivotal in fostering a technology-driven organizational culture, as this role will act as the head of the IT Department.

In This Role, You Will:
Strategic Leadership:
 •       Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
 •       Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide technology initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
 •       Act as a key advisor to the executive team on IT and systems trends, risks, and opportunities.
 •       Drive digital transformation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies such as AI and cloud computing.
IT Project Management Office (PMO):
 •       Oversee the IT PMO, ensuring the successful delivery of technology projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
 •       Establish and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and tools.
 •       Monitor the progress and performance of critical projects, providing guidance and resources as needed.
Cybersecurity and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX): 
 •       Ensure the development and enforcement of comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures.
 •       Oversee the operation of logical access controls and the effective management of security service providers.
 •       Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements related to IT systems and data security.
 •       Conduct regular IT risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen compliance with regulatory bodies.
 •       Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
IT Services and Process Excellence: 
 •       Manage service requests, change management, and vendor management controls.
 •       Oversee incident monitoring and resolution, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
 •       Lead infrastructure management and support service providers to maintain seamless operational functionality.
 •       Foster a culture of continuous improvement in IT processes and service delivery.
Business System Applications: 
 •       Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of business applications to meet organizational needs.
 •       Ensure system integrations align with business workflows and strategic objectives.
 •       Monitor and evaluate application performance, addressing issues proactively and enhancing user experience.
 •       Champion user-centric design principles to improve system adoption and effectiveness.
Team Leadership and Development: 
 •       Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
 •       Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for IT leadership and staff.
 •       Cultivate a culture of excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement within the IT organization.
Financial and Vendor Management:
 •       Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
 •       Oversee vendor relationships and negotiations to secure cost-effective and high-quality IT services and solutions.
 •       Monitor vendor performance to ensure alignment with contractual obligations and organizational goals.

In This Role, You’ll Bring With You:
 •       A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience; Master’s degree preferred.
 •       A minimum of 15–20 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in an executive capacity.
 •       Proven experience in IT project management, cybersecurity, SOX, and systems management in a regulated environment.
 •       Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks, including Sarbanes-Oxley.
 •       Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
 •       Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
 •       Experience with digital transformation initiatives, including implementing AI, cloud computing, and data analytics solutions.
 •       Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms.
 •       Up to 10% travel required: Although this role is a remote work-from-home position, we “Farmers” do meet as a company and/or as a department a few times a year. Anticipate possible travel up to a few times each quarter.
 •       Genuine passion for improving childhood nutrition for a healthier and happier planet.

 •       Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity, deeply understand business needs, develop a cohesive strategy, and make decisions requiring a high level of judgment.
 •       Previous exposure to cross-functional work between Sustainability and Finance preferred.
 •       Must reside in the United States to be considered for this position.

Compensation:
 •       Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt
 •       The anticipated salary range for this position is $180,000.00 to $225,000.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a few factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses, stipends, equity, and role-specific perks.
