Location: Remote with requirement to travel for business needs

Role Purpose:

The Manager, Pure Play eCommerce will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end sales operations of Hain's NA Pure Play eCommerce channel. This individual will own building strategy and driving execution to drive profitable sales growth across key strategic retailers including Amazon.com (US & CA), Amazon Fresh, iHerb, Thrive markets and others. This role includes both direct and broker/agency management. This individual will lead cross-functional partners such as supply chain, trade marketing, integrated marketing, sales finance and others to drive profitable sales growth, marketing & media strategy, accurate forecasting and flawless operational performance. The role will require strong cross-functional leadership, and the building of relationships with retail and third-party partners to optimize digital sales and enhance customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Build and execute near and mid-term Pure Play channel sales strategy to achieve profitable market share growth across Amazon and other key pure play retailers
  • Strengthen and build trusted partnerships with key retail partners through strategic and collaborative joint business planning
  • Drive winning outcomes across the Pure Play P&L, with focus on revenue growth, operational excellence, trade and media investment ROI optmization
  • Lead key cross-functional partners (i.e. integrated marketing, brand, finance, customer support, supply chain) to ensure seamless execution of eCommerce strategy across the flywheel.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to evolve strategy and drive growth opportunities.
  • Lead vendor negotiations and influence both internal and external stakeholders to achieve win-win outcomes.
  • Lead Amazon forecast and demand planning process to drive forecast accuracy and flawless service.
  • Coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing team including direct report & cross-functional teams (including brokers/agencies).
  • Leverage syndicated data, POS, internal analytics and digital shelf data to assess performance and identify opportunities for profitable share growth.
  • Build internal communication plan to update key stakeholders at all levels of the organization on business strategy, needs and performance


Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Required:
  • 7-10 years experience in a Sales capacity within a Consumer-Packaged Goods Company, with minium of 3 years direct Amazon 1P/eCommerce experience
  • Passion for digital/eCommerce and staying updated on industry trends
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or equivalent
  • Proven track record of driving profitable growth across pure play platforms through effective sales planning, digital merchandising, and retail media strategies
  • Experience managing direct customer relationships, agency partners and leading JBP (Joint Business Planning) processes with key pure play retailers
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable sales strategies
  • Familiarity with retail media, digital shelf analytics, and supply chain fundamentals for eCommerce
  • Proven track record of cross-functional leadership and delivering results through others
  • Experience working with internal forecasting, S&OP processes, and eCommerce financial planning
  • Strong financial acumen and P&L understanding
  • Strong communication/presentaion skills

Scope:

Financial/Budgetary Responsibility: Manage trade budget and compliance for assigned customer(s)

Team Size: Potential for up to 1-2 direct reports, Amazon agency & other brokers

Conditions of Role:
