    Primary Responsibilities

    The Executive Director of Financial Technology Transformation will play a pivotal role in leading our Finance department in crucial Transformation and Intelligent Automation initiatives. This role will drive the strategic adoption of AI, machine learning, and robotic process automation (RPA) across the Finance organization. This leader will oversee systems integration, reporting consolidation, and the development of a high-performing team focused on continuous improvement, scalability, and innovation.     Essential Functions

    DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Technology Leadership: Act as a catalyst for change by evaluating and adopting emerging technologies to enhance Finance capabilities.
    • Intelligent Automation: Lead the implementation and expansion of AI, RPA, and machine learning solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making.
    • Systems Integration: Consolidate and streamline reporting and planning tools (e.g., Power BI, SharePoint, Workday Adaptive Planning) into a unified, scalable platform.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, FP&A, Commercial, and Operations leaders-as well as the VP of Shared Services and Financial Systems-to execute enterprise-wide AI and automation strategies.
    • Productivity & Innovation: Identify and deliver technology-driven opportunities to enhance Finance function effectiveness.
    • Planning Platform Ownership: Manage and optimize FP&A systems (Workday Adaptive Planning, Illuminate) to align with business needs.
    • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three professionals dedicated to Finance transformation and system support.


    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
    • Senior-level leadership experience in Finance, Technology, or Transformation within large, matrixed organizations.
    • Proven success implementing AI, RPA, and financial systems.
    • Deep knowledge of planning and reporting tools (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning, Power BI) and automation platforms.
    • Strong executive presence with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and partner with senior executives.


    Preferred Qualifications
    • Hands-on leadership experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, including configuration, maintenance, and user support.
    • Experience partnering with FP&A teams, with strong knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and analysis processes.
    • Background in fintech, consulting, or enterprise digital transformation.
    • Certifications or advanced training in AI/ML, RPA, or financial systems.

    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Information Technology required.
    • Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Finance, Information Systems, or related field) and/or CPA strongly preferred.
    • 12+ years of experience in Finance or a relevant field
    • 8+ years of experience leading teams
