Role Purpose:
The Director, Pure Play eCommerce will be responsible for leading the end-to-end sales operations of Hain's NA Pure Play eCommerce channel. This individual will own building strategy and driving execution to drive profitable sales growth across key strategic retailers including Amazon.com (US & CA), Amazon Fresh, iHerb, Thrive markets and others. This role will lead broker/agency management. This individual will lead cross-functional partners across supply chain, trade marketing, integrated marketing, sales finance and others to drive profitable sales growth, marketing & media strategy, accurate forecasting and flawless operational performance. The role will require strong cross-functional leadership, and the building of relationships with retail and third-party partners to optimize digital sales and enhance customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set and lead the near- and mid-term Pure Play channel strategy to deliver sustainable, profitable market share growth across Amazon and other key pure play retailers.
- Foster executive-level relationships with retail partners by driving strategic, data-informed joint business planning that aligns long-term goals and unlocks mutual growth.
- Own the Pure Play P&L, with accountability for delivering revenue and profit objectives through optimized investment across trade, media, and operational levers.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams (e.g., integrated marketing, brand, finance, customer support, supply chain) to ensure seamless execution of a full-funnel eCommerce strategy and operational excellence across the flywheel.
- Translate market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive intelligence into actionable strategies that evolve business plans and unlock new growth opportunities.
- Steer high-stakes vendor negotiations and partner engagement, balancing strategic vision with operational execution to secure value-added outcomes.
- Oversee Amazon forecast and demand planning processes, ensuring alignment across supply chain and commercial teams to drive accuracy, availability, and service levels.
- Develop and coach a high-performing team, including direct reports, cross-functional partners, agencies, and broker partners, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Leverage data and analytics-including syndicated sources, POS, internal insights, and digital shelf intelligence-to assess performance, inform decisions, and identify new levers for profitable share growth.
- Establish and lead internal communication routines, providing ongoing visibility to senior leadership and key stakeholders on channel strategy, business performance, and capability needs.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- 10+ years experience in a Sales capacity within a Consumer-Packaged Goods Company, with minium of 3 years direct Amazon 1P/eCommerce experience.
- Passion for digital/eCommerce and staying updated on industry trends
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or equivalent
- Proven track record of driving profitable growth across pure play platforms through effective sales planning, digital merchandising, and retail media strategies
- Experience managing direct customer relationships, agency partners and leading JBP (Joint Business Planning) processes with key pure play retailers
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable sales strategies
- Familiarity with retail media, digital shelf analytics, and supply chain fundamentals for eCommerce
- Proven track record of cross-functional leadership and delivering results through others
- Experience working with internal forecasting, S&OP processes, and eCommerce financial planning
- Strong financial acumen and P&L understanding
- Strong communication/presentation skills
