Primary Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Key Account Representative (KAR) - Fresh is to serve as the liaison between fresh suppliers, the broker community, KeHE Territory Sales Representatives, and the region's accounts/customers. The KAR plays a critical role in driving fresh category growth by consistently introducing and championing new fresh items to the sales team and supporting successful implementation in the field. The KAR will accomplish this by building solid internal relationships with these partners; Category Management, Supply Chain, Promotions Team / Sales Enablement, etc.
A key focus of the role is to contribute to achieving a 15% year-over-year increase in Fresh PODS by leveraging tools such as territory sales analytics and strategic planning. The KAR must track and report on the performance of new items, providing insights and recommendations to drive ongoing success.
Relationship-building is central to this role.
