    Primary Responsibilities

    The HRIS Coordinator supports the HR team by assisting in the maintenance and coordination of HR systems and processes. This role helps ensure data accuracy, provides end-user support, assists with report generation, and contributes to system testing and documentation. The HRIS Coordinator works closely with internal stakeholders to help ensure smooth operations of the HRIS, with a primary focus on the Dayforce HCM and applicant tracking systems (ATS). The role also includes managing and resolving employee support tickets related to HR systems to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.     Essential Functions

    DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
      • Assist with the administration and maintenance of HR systems, including data entry and regular audits to maintain data accuracy.
      • Provide day-to-day support to HR system users, including troubleshooting issues and escalating more complex problems when needed.
      • Monitor and manage employee support tickets submitted through the designated help desk system; ensure timely responses, appropriate follow-ups, and resolution tracking.
      • Help support the Onboarding module within Dayforce and the applicant tracking system (ATS).
      • Generate and distribute standard and ad-hoc reports using Excel or other reporting tools as directed.
      • Run system queries and assist in analyzing HR data to support various HR functions.
      • Participate in system testing during upgrades or configuration changes; help document testing results.
      • Assist in the documentation of HRIS processes, procedures, and user guides.
      • Support training efforts by helping prepare training materials and occasionally assisting in user sessions.
      • Coordinate communication with vendors or IT when needed for issue resolution or scheduled maintenance.
      • Maintain awareness of basic system functionalities and stay updated on system-related changes.
      • Perform other duties and administrative tasks as assigned to support the HR team.
      • Other duties as assigned.

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data organization.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
    • Comfortable learning new systems and processes.
    • Team player with a service-oriented mindset.
    • Exposure to HRIS platforms (Dayforce and iCIMS experience a plus but not required).
    • Familiarity with support ticketing systems and issue tracking workflows is a plus.

    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Associate degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
    • 0-2 years of experience in an HR support or coordinator role, preferably with some exposure to HRIS systems.
    • Experience with HR data entry and reporting is preferred.
    • Prior experience handling help desk tickets or providing technical end-user support is a plus.
