Primary Responsibilities
The Senior Supply Chain Solutions Lead is the primary liaison between key account teams and supply chain for all activities involving supply chain integration as well SME support to other Supply Chain Solutions Leads and project management. This role involves developing insights related to forecasts and processes to support event-based movement related to promotional activity, new product placement, seasonality, and increased points of distribution. Additionally, this role will represent the KeHE supply chain organization to the account team and facilitate seamless integration between the customer and KeHE's order management processes and systems. Essential Functions
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitates and develops solutions that integrate the assigned customer's and KeHE supply chain processes.
- Focuses on understanding the customer's internal system and processes to provide insights on how we can improve our performance, based on the tools available.
- Supports key account team in non-selling activities such as root cause and recovery on performance issues.
- Leads regularly scheduled meetings with the assigned key account teams or customers to review performance of KPI's, procurement challenged inventory, and plans for at-risk inventory.
- Produces a weekly metrics scorecard and provides results.
- Provides insights into performance drivers and future outlook.
- Partners with the demand planner to integrate account demand into the overall DC and item forecast needs.
- Supports promotional forecasting analysis.
- Monitors and manages promotional demand readiness and account execution.
- Utilizes internal and external data to identify changes in sales trends to drive a proactive response across the supply chain.
- Presents quarterly business reviews to internal teams on performance results and 90-day strategy.
- Leads as an SME and mentor to supply chain support functions such as systems, analytics, processes, or customer channels.
- Assists other solutions leads in understanding and establishing best practices.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated success organizing, analyzing, and accurately interpreting large data sets.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong relationship management skills and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence and educate teams in topics such as supply chain and forecasting success factors.
- Ability to prioritize workload and simultaneously work on multiple tasks.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and COGNOS, Power BI, and other similar tools.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field is required.
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably supply or demand planning or Supply Chain solutions is required.
- Prior experience in customer service and/or sales support role preferred.
- Prior experience in the food industry and/or code sensitive product environment preferred.
- Prior experience using ERP systems such as JDA Demand, SAP/APO, Manhattan, etc. is strongly preferred.
