Role Purpose:
The Sr. Customer Insights Analyst works closely with Hain's Target Account Team to monitor brand & category performance & competitive activity. This role collaborates with Sales, Marketing & Category Managers to develop & communicate fact-based analysis & insights to support Hain's category solutions & meet topline sales objectives.
The Sr. Analyst, Customer Insights supports Hain's Target Account Team by using syndicated & panel data as well as other insights to identify opportunities, influence the customer, and drive profitable topline growth.

Role Purpose:
The Sr. Customer Insights Analyst works closely with Hain's Target Account Team to monitor brand & category performance & competitive activity. This role collaborates with Sales, Marketing & Category Managers to develop & communicate fact-based analysis & insights to support Hain's category solutions & meet topline sales objectives.
The Sr. Analyst, Customer Insights supports Hain's Target Account Team by using syndicated & panel data as well as other insights to identify opportunities, influence the customer, and drive profitable topline growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leverage insights from of a broad range of data sources including Circana, Spins, Mintel, and other tools to develop selling stories, category reviews, and business reviews and make fact-based assortment, merchandising, pricing, and promotion recommendations to drive category growth.
- Act as a category subject matter expert for Hain's Target Account Team by possessing a deep knowledge of Hain categories and category strategies at Target.
- Understand the national Hain category/brand strategy and tailor solutions for Target.
- Create, prepare, and issue weekly & monthly scorecards to ensure visibility and alignment with corporately assigned KPIs.
- Support the strategic direction for the Target Sales team as well as the Hain Category & Shopper Insights department through data analysis and opportunity assessments.
- Actively initiate and manage key category projects in conjunction with the Target sales team.
- Work closely with the Target Sales team to implement winning solutions that capitalize on market opportunities and/or solving customer issues.
- Identify key competitive initiatives and communicate implications broadly.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years combined practical experience in category management, shopper insights and working with syndicated data
- Strong working knowledge of syndicated data (Circana, Nielsen, Spins), and consumer data
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Experience analyzing data & translating to recommendations
- Ability to develop and deliver sales presentations
- Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas
- Excellent planning, analytical / problem solving skills
- Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities, & strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively.

- Travel Requirements: Primarily remote role with infrequent travel as required.
