Primary Responsibilities
KeHE is hiring a Sr. Specialist to support their Hidden Talent initiatives in 19 distribution centers across North America. This role is based in our Naperville HQ and will be onsite 3 days/week.
The Hidden Talent Program Sr. Specialist will be largely responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of KeHE's Hidden Talent initiative with three primary focus areas:
1) Build relationships with organizations and agencies serving Hidden Talent (HT) populations in areas where KeHE has a presence
2) Source Hidden Talent candidates for open roles at KeHE
3) Work in partnership with the Sr. Program Manager, Hidden Talent to design trainings and support programs as part of the Hidden Talent program

Essential Functions
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Build relationships with HT focused workforce agencies and non-profits nationwide
- Identify partnerships for On-The-Job Training (OJT), wage reimbursement, and other grant opportunities
- Collaborate with the Sr. Program Manager, Hidden Talent, to identify potential vendors, training programs, and other employee support programs
- Research, design, and implement best practices for hiring and onboarding HT in coordination with the Sr. Program Manager
- Develop HT candidate pipelines through community partnerships, referrals, social media, and direct outreach
- Maintain and update recruiting tools/systems to ensure accurate information is up to date
- Partner effectively with hiring managers and recruiters to understand talent needs and provide strategic insights
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:- Passionate about Hidden Talent and economic mobility
- Strong relationship building and management skills
- Knowledge of inclusive recruiting and hiring practices
- Strategic thinker with hands-on style to deliver practical and effective solutions
- Strong organization and comfortable with prioritizing and managing multiple priorities and tasks
- Experience creating and implementing projects and processes from inception to completion
- Familiarity with current talent identification and recruiting strategies
- Previous experience with Hidden Talent and/or DEI strongly preferred
- Previous experience with an Applicant Tracking System strongly preferred
- Previous experience in developing partnerships with non-traditional talent pipeline organizations strongly preferred
- Advanced Skills in Word and Excel
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Management or related field required; additional years of relevant experience considered
- 4+ years of Program Management & 3+ years of recruiting experience OR credentials equating to experience preferred
- Previous experience in building and maintaining relationships with workforce development focused non-profits OR talent pipeline partners
