Primary Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Solutions Manager leads a team of Supply Chain Solutions Leads that are the primary liaison between key account team's and supply chain for all activities involving supply chain integration. This involves developing insights related to forecasts and processes to support event-based movement related to promotional activity, new product placement, seasonality, and increased points of distribution. Additionally, the Supply Chain Solutions Manager will represent the KeHE supply chain organization to the account team and facilitate seamless integration between customer and KeHE order management processes & systems. Essential Functions
Primary Objectives:
- Managing and mentoring a dynamic team of customer/account facing supply chain professionals.
- Setting aggressive goals for their team and drives accountability for meeting both team and overall department goals.
- Identifying bottlenecks that are a barrier to customer experience and optimized supply chain execution
- Developing solutions that integrate the assigned customer's and KeHE supply chain processes.
- Key operational liaison between the customer and KeHE Supply Chain.
- Focusing on accessing and understanding the customer's internal system and looking to better understand how we can improve our mutual performance based on the tools available.
- Developing and communicating tactical plans for KPI driving activities to account and supply chain leadership
- Partnering with demand and supply planning managers to ensure key customer objectives are achieved
- Utilizing internal and external data to recognize changes in sales trends to drive a proactive response across the supply chain.
- Actively participating in regularly scheduled meetings with the assigned account team leadership and/or customers to review performance to KPI's, procurement challenged inventory, and plans for at-risk inventory.
- Creating and communicating performance improvement and recovery plans where necessary.
- Primary supply chain partner for account team leadership.
- Articulating key customer objectives to supply chain management team.
- Accountability towards their team's quarterly business reviews and 90 day strategies.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years leading and developing teams with at least 5 years of overall experience in various supply chain roles.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex issues to multiple levels of the organization.
- Outstanding analytic skills with demonstrated success organizing, analyzing, and accurately interpreting large amounts of data.
- Previous experience in customer service and/or sales support role.
- Forecasting/planning in a high sku, slow movement environment.
- Prior experience using advanced planning systems such as JDA Demand, SAP/APO, Manhattan, etc. strongly preferred.
- Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills.
- Capable of influencing & educating key account team on supply chain and forecasting success
- Strong working knowledge of inventory planning, forecasting techniques as well as operational systems and warehouse management.
- Ability to prioritize workload to have the most significant impact on customer satisfaction and performance to KPI's.
- Proficiency in using Excel, COGNOS, Access, Power BI and other similar tools.
- Prior experience in food industry and/or code sensitive product environment preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Retail sales experience preferred
- Estimated travel requirements 10% or as needed
