
Position Title: Director of Sales – National Accounts

Compensation and Benefits:
· Salary range is $140K - $155K
· Benefits include bonus potential, health, dental and vision insurance, 401k with 4% company match, equity shares, sick and vacation leave
Position Summary: The Director of Sales is a key leadership position for the company and is accountable for driving company revenue, ensuring gross margin goals are met and building the strength of the Bobo’s brand. This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong professional sales skills, acumen, interpersonal skills, and the ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders. Candidate must have a strong track record of success in driving Net Sales at a challenger company, working in a collaborative team environment, and partnering with strategic national retailers across Grocery and Natural channels.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for calling on national grocery and natural channel accounts, including but not limited to Kroger, Albertsons, Publix, ADUSA, Sprouts, and Whole Foods.
· Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve/exceed sales targets through distribution gains, price/pack strategy, and promotional execution.
· Collaborate with internal and external partners to maximize trade efficiency and ensure the most effective customer programing is in place to support and sustain business growth.
· Understand data analysis and possess the ability to identify and communicate retailer specific opportunities
· Partner with internal teams on forecasting and production planning to align with customer needs and goals
· Comprehend category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces driving business shifts and strategic direction of accounts
· Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and category opportunities and position them against competitors through proposals and excellent presentation skills
· Proven ability to build meaningful relationships with key customer contacts, operating both directly and through broker partners.
· Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
· Represent organization at trade exhibitions and events
· Experience successfully collaborating with distributor partners to deliver best-in-class service to retailers.
· Contribute to internal strategy as the expert voice of strategically critical retailer partners.
Supervisory Responsibility: Intimately manage broker partners across key retailers.
Qualifications / Education / Experience Desired:
· Minimum of 10 years’ of experience in CPG industry in a Sales capacity.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience working directly with strategic national retailers, ideally in the Grocery and Natural Foods channel.
· Possess key functional understanding across sales, trade management and category management
· Prior experience with brand development and systems to support aggressive business growth
· Key leadership characteristics: Collaborative, Adaptable, Passionate, Perseverant, Fun Loving.
· Excellent listening, negotiation, verbal and written communications skills
· Bachelor’s degree; business and marketing majors preferred.
Language / Mathematical / Reasoning Ability:
· Candidate must be a proficient user in POWERPOINT, WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK and MS TEAMS.
Supervision Given:
· This position will report to the VP of Sales – Grocery and Natural
· This position is expected to be able to work with minimal oversight, and can confidently handle situations on their own

Travel Required: Must be willing and able to travel approximately 50% of time.
