    Primary Responsibilities

    The Vice President of Sales, Alternate Channels is responsible for managing and leading a team focused on driving growth, developing new strategies, and cultivating a growth culture into existing and new business relationships in channels that expand the reach of our services beyond the traditional grocer. The Vice President of Sales has Division P&L accountability with a heavy focus on identifying business development opportunities, customer profitability, achieving cross functional KPI's while developing an integrated growth strategy within US Distribution, while executing, and driving sales.

      • Identify new business opportunities.
        • Analyze partner potential.
        • Organizational management to serve new customers.
        • Assure Customer Profitability in emerging markets.
      • Create and lead strategies to win and cultivate business relationships.
        • Develop infrastructure requirements to better support the unique dynamics of the channel.
      • Achieve sales and financial growth.
      • Channel expansion and overall strategy creation and execution.
      • Identify and incorporate business metrics.
      • Deliver results through cross functional execution.
      • Develop an effective and high performing team.
        • Train and develop talent in a way that delivers results and adds value to the talent development strategies of the company.
      • Develop and own effective customer relationships.
        • Develop strategies that will enhance the connection points between cross functional leaders for Alternate Channels and KeHE

        • Lead all conflict resolution instances to a quick and efficient solution.
        • Manage the relationship to be mutually accountable to the success of the business.
      • Maintains awareness of competitor programs and marketplace strategies
      • Other duties and projects as assigned.



    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

      • Experience with syndicated data preferred.
      • The ability to position KeHE capabilities and offers in a competitively advantageous light and shape how others perceive situations and induce a desired response.
      • Proficiency with MS Office required.
      • Willingness and ability to work in close collaboration with others to reach goals, and subordinate personnel agenda and recognition for team performance.

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
      • Bachelor's degree in business or other related field is required and a graduate degree is highly desirable.
      • A minimum of 15 years of sales and business development experience in a leadership capacity - preferred experience in e-commerce
      • A proven history of achieving financial results.
      • A deep understanding of building a business in the complex and rapidly changing food distribution and retail environment.
